Questions typically asked regarding Oggie Ergo Grips:

Q – How are they attached?
A – The grips attach just like an end plug. Just heat the supplied hot melt glue and insert into stick.

Q - Is it legal?
A - The grips are officially legal for play:

• USA Hockey
• Swiss Ice Hockey Association

Q – What are the benefits?
A – Many benefits:

Q – What if I have to cut my stick, won’t it change the flex?
A – The grips have an Exclusive Patented Grip-Flex System built in that enables players to generate optimal power from his/her shot. The unique design allows players to generate additional puck speed when shooting by utilizing the flexural energy stored in the grip.

Q - It looks like it might be heavy.
A – Oggie Grips are extremely lightweight. In fact they only weigh 4 oz. The grips feature a high tech composite indo-skeletal structural inner and a soft comfortable synthetic rubber outer which makes the grips actually as light as a taped grip.

Q – How is it packaged?
A – Oggie Grips are packaged in a clear clamshell blister pack with a hang hole for easy display. A warranty card, helmet sticker, and instructions are all included. Oggie Grips are also sold WITHOUT packaging in bulk form, with hot melt glue applied to insert area.

Q - What if it breaks or there is a problem with the grip?
A –The grips have a one year warranty in the US, Canada, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Problems which may arise from use of the grips are taken care of by Oggie Products.

Q – The grips are quite "grippy"
A – For many players, this "grippy" feel is exactly what they always wanted. If you like a less "grippy" feel, many players put tape over Oggie Grips so they can slide their hand on and off the grip more easily. You still get the curved grip which fits your hand more naturally.

Q – The grips seem a bit thin for a large hand.
A – Oggie grips are perfect for a player that desires a shaved grip or for players with smaller hands. But you could always bulk up Oggie Grips with cloth or "Powerflex" type cohesive tape. You still get that curved grip that fits comfortably in your hand and Oggie's exclusive Flex System, but with a bit bulkier grip. We call this "Oggie in Stealth Mode". The secret weapon grip is under the tape, but most people don't know it!

Q – My grip came loose. How do I set it so it doesn't move around.
A – There is currently no standard size for the butt-end of composite hockey sticks established by the manufacturers. Use of some cloth tape to shim the grips and some additional hot melt glue is recommended for a tight fit.

And remember! OGGIE grips can ALSO be used AS AN EXTENSION, to get more life out of a short or broken stick. 6 ½" extension for the Oggie Ergo. 7 ½" extension for the Oggie Classic.
