"I have been running one on one shooting programs for the last 6 years. The biggest issue that I've come across is how many new players are holding their stick. With kids coming in with new gloves that are not broken in very well, the kids don't have the "palmless glove" feel. Also, new players don't realize that the top hand is turning over the stick. Similar to a golf grip, the thumb should be down the shaft to have the blade hitting ball, or puck, straight. The Oggie grip is the only product I have found that can fix this problem. At first, many “Old School Hockey” folks here in New England don't want to accept this new age product for some reason. But that is all starting to change.
I have recommended many player’s use them since I've found this grip, and I personally use an Ergo grip myself. Many parents have thanked me for improving their child’s stick handling and shot. All I did was recognize a problem, Oggie gave me the solution.

FYI - later this evening when I was talking with my son he mentioned that one of the dozen coaches at his clinic "confiscated" his stick.... he was curious about your product, and was trying it out, showing it off to his coaching peers...btw - the majority play for local Div-1 College programs in the area...the feedback..."I gotta get one of these"....so better get more inventory to Pure Hockey (that's where we said we picked it up...and there was only one left as of Wednesday nite...

First of all I would like to thank you for sending the correct size grip so quickly. My son LOVES his new grip. Our hockey supply store (Total Hockey) here in St. Louis loved it. All of his teammates on both his roller hockey and ice hockey team wanted to know where they could get one. Several of them either don't have a computer or access to one. I don't know if your company has a dealer/supplier here in the Midwest, but like I said everyone from my adult team to the kids he's around seemed interested in the grip. Just thought I'd let you know there could be a market here for your product. I got your address out of the USA Hockey magazine my son receives from his ice hockey club. Take care and thanks again.

I purchased the ergo and I tell you that is the best grip in the world. I was wondering if you guys made a longer grip? I cut my stick a little too short and the wear pattern on the blade show I need to make it longer. I was wondering how long is your classic grip or do you make custom ergo length? I hope you guys do because I love the grips.
Answer from Oggie Customer Support: Oggie also has a Classic grip that provides a 7-1/2" extension.

feedback: I just picked up one of these grips for my 8 year old son (Mite) and I put it on his street hockey stick for him to try (it's summer, eh!) and he LOVES IT!

feedback: Just purchased my second for my Squirt Minor son...went on his "Game" stick....the first we applied to a "Backup/garage" stick as an evaluation....he liked it so much he takes that stick to the clinic he's currently enrolled in....and has the older kids asking about it and wanting to give the grip a try. feedback: I have a condition called trigger thumb where the tendon sheath at the base of my thumb becomes inflamed. My doctor thinks it may have been caused by the ball of tape that I use to maintain a better grip on my stick. I saw your Ergo grip product advertised in the USA Hockey magazine and thought I would give it a try. It has worked out even better than I could've hoped. feedback: I try everything I can find to help me in my adult rec games, so, purchased an Ergo grip at Majer Hockey in Toronto. I have happily used Mission PowerPlugs and TackiMac grips on my composite sticks for the past 2 years. After using the Ergo grip on my Vapor XX stick last night, I will be changing my other sticks over as soon as I can. Incredible feeling of comfort and security when holding the stick. Dear Oggie Team-
My 9-year old son recently started skating sessions with Matt Wright at Wright Hockey in Woburn, Massachusetts. My son noticed Matt using an Oggie Grip. Matt talked to him about the benefits of the grip. I had purchased a composite stick for my son for his birthday on August 13. So, I contacted Matt after the session and purchased a grip for the new stick.
We installed the Oggie Grip – which required some customization. He is using a Sherwood Jr Momentum – Spezza curve. We went back to Wright Hockey on Monday of this week and the first wrist shot he took in warm-ups was an absolute bullet that went about glove high – top corner – as my son said, “up where Grandma keep the peanut butter!” and he added a fist pump! He turned around to see if I’d seen the shot and had a huge grin on his face. The rest of the session went very well – his shot was really zipping!
He absolutely loves the stick and the Oggie Grip and has already seen very positive results.
Thought you would appreciate hearing from another satisfied customer. I’m sure he will be showing off and promoting his Oggie to all of his Squirt A buddies at practice which starts next week.

feedback: We had attended the show in 2006, and my sons stopped at your booth. I was surprised on how with in minutes using your product my 9 year old could place the puck where he wanted. Well we have just purchased our 3rd grip and now his 6 year old brother is using one on his stick. He has let some of his teammates try his stick and now they are also using your product.
A funny story, my son had a local AHL team autogragh his stick and all the players were very interested in the grip. He didn't have to bring the stick to the players, they all wanted to try the grip. The comment they all had was they wanted some pucks to try it out. They asked us where we purchased it.
