History
Tape has been the traditional method used for years to provide a grip for hockey sticks. Early attempts at making grips that slid over hockey sticks were always far too bulky to be comfortable.
How about a grip with the same dimensions as the stick itself?
We have had a few people tell us……”We tape our sticks custom!”
Well our answer to that is…..”That’s because you never had a better choice!”
And Oggie Products takes this one step further by offering not one, but three choices.

Oggie Grip's product line includes three distinctive products: Oggie Grip Ergo, Oggie Grip Classic, and Sticky Grip Foam. The grips, sold in an assortment of colors, and two distinctive styles offer junior, intermediate, and adult players who utilize hollow aluminum and composite hockey sticks to insert the grips in a similar fashion as they would insert the blades for these sticks. Ice hockey, in-line hockey, and street hockey players all benefit from the enhanced control that these grips offer.
In addition to the Oggie Grip Ergo and Classic, a third product aptly named Sticky Grip Foam is offered. Sticky Grip Foam is used on hockey or any sports stick in conjunction with cloth tape when taping a grip. Instead of players utilizing hockey tape and rolling the tape into a piping to provide a base for the grip, players can utilize Sticky Grip Foam as the base. This will provide a more uniform, softer, and more comfortable grip base than tape alone. Players can also cut Sticky Grip Foam into custom shapes to provide a grip specifically tailored to their needs.
